15 November 2026 – Kartika Purnima (Odisha & All India): One of the holiest full moon days in the Hindu calendar. Devotees take holy baths, visit temples, perform charitable acts, and offer prayers. In Odisha, it is closely associated with Boita Bandana and the remembrance of ancient maritime traditions.

15 November 2026 – Boita Bandana (Odisha): People float small decorated boats in rivers, ponds, and lakes before sunrise to commemorate the historic sea voyages of Odia traders known as Sadhabas.

16 November 2026 – Chhath Puja (Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh & Across India): Dedicated to the Sun God and Chhathi Maiya. Devotees offer prayers at sunrise and sunset, seeking health, prosperity, and family well-being.

24 November 2026 – Prathamastami (Odisha): A unique Odia festival dedicated to the eldest child of the family. Special prayers are offered for the child's long life, good health, and prosperity. Traditional Enduri Pitha is prepared and shared.
